    HEAPS DECENT’S ADAM BOZZETTO AND WAX MOTIF HEAD BACK TO WAGGA, OCTOBER 2010 It was time again for Danny aka Wax Motif and I to hit Wagga Wagga and the Riverina Juvenile Justice Centre. On the first trip out there with Danny, some awesome beats and raps were recorded so this time around we were there to finish them off. There were a few new boys and a few boys who had left, some of them had been released which on one hand is sad because you don’t see them but on the other hand and more importantly is great because they are not in the Centre anymore. Some of the new boys stepped up right away. Between having some of the boys getting to know us well and great support from the staff at Riverina it is becoming a very positive environment and easier for new boys to come in and record without any shame. Two songs are almost ready with 10 boys contributing in one way or another. Whether it was helping with writing the beats or putting down a rap. As part of our trips to Wagga Wagga, we always have a session with some of the local guys at the Riverina Community College as well. They have just finished a new office/workspace/studio and it is amazing. They let Danny and I jump in their studio and work on some tracks with a couple of the local boys, which you can see in these pictures. You might even seen a picture there of Wagga’s growing star, Mandella. We posted a beautiful song last time that he sung for us. Also this was my first time meeting up with one of the boys that were in the Juvenile Centre on the outside. Jack (his nickname) came down to hang at the centre and say hi instead of hanging out with his girlfriend and her friends. Now for an 18 year old boy who has been only hanging out with only boys for the last few years in Juvenile Centre, to pass that up and come to spend time with us and the guys at the Riverina Community Centre made Danny and I feel like what the Centre and we are doing was helping some of the guys that we had worked with in the Juvenile Centre after they had been released. Two of the best songs that I have been a part of since working with Heaps Decent are on the way.
